Emergency Manager coming soon to a Public Entity near you...

I read this article today in the Detroit News and felt compelled to comment on the remarks of Danial Howe. See the attached link:  http://apps.detnews.com/apps/forums/writeus.php

Tough decisions are made by tough people who usually are not to close to the core issues themselves.  That would be wrong since it could effect their decision.  It's like when we were kids and we needed an adult arbitrator to resolve some sort of ruling over who get's the call in a game.  Maybe we've come to this point because of  socities appetite for shows like... Peoples Court, Judge Judy, and American Idol.  We need some type of appointed figure head or panel to tell us what is right, wrong, and what path to follow. 

We are indeed not in Kansas anymore...
